MOST MALWARE TYPES
So hello victoryans,
1.spyware virus
Spyware is a type of malicious software -- or malware -- that is installed on a computing device without the end user's knowledge. It invades the device, steals sensitive information and internet usage data, and relays it to advertisers, data firms or external users
2.Adware virus
Adware refers to a type of malware that displays unwanted advertisements on your computer or device. Adware is commonly activated unknowingly when users are trying to install legitimate applications that adware is bundled with.
3.Rootkit virus
Examples of rootkit attacks. Phishing and social engineering attacks. Rootkits can enter computers when users open spam emails and inadvertently download malicious software. Rootkits also use keyloggers that capture user login information.
4.Ransomware virus
Cryptolocker is one of the first examples of sophisticated ransomware. It locked users out of their devices and then used a 2,048-bit RSA key pair to encrypt systems and any connected drives and synced cloud services.
5.Worms virus
A computer worm is a standalone malware computer program that replicates itself in order to spread to other computers. It often uses a computer network to spread itself, relying on security failures on the target computer to access it. It will use this machine as a host to scan and infect other computers.
6.Trojans virus
In computing, a Trojan horse is any malware that misleads users of its true intent. The term is derived from the Ancient Greek story of the deceptive Trojan Horse that led to the fall of the city of Troy
7.Keylogger virus
Short for “keystroke logging,” a keylogger is a type of malicious software that records every keystroke you make on your computer. Keyloggers are a type of spyware — malware designed to spy on victims. Because they can capture everything you type, keyloggers are one of the most invasive forms of malware.
